A major attraction in Belton is the Huntington Bank Center, which many longtime locals still lovingly call “The Expo.”

Belton has grown over the years, but it still feels like a close-knit community. You’ll find local events, friendly neighbors, and a historic downtown that gives the city plenty of character.

From Belton Lake and Chalk Ridge Falls to Miller Springs Nature Center, there are countless ways to enjoy the outdoors. Whether you like hiking, boating, kayaking, or fishing, you’ll never be far from an adventure.

Belton sits along i35, making it easy to reach Temple, Killeen, Fort Cavazos/Fort Hood, Waco, and even Austin for day trips.

Let’s be honest…Texas summers are no joke. Triple-digit temperatures are common, so you’ll definitely appreciate good air conditioning and maybe a day on the lake!

Continued Growth Means More Traffic

Belton continues to grow every year. While traffic is nothing like Austin or Dallas, you’ll notice busier roads during peak commuting hours and around major construction projects.

Limited Nightlife

If you’re looking for a bustling nightlife scene, Belton probably isn’t the place for you. Most entertainment revolves around community events, local restaurants, and outdoor activities.

Property Taxes
