If you’ve followed me on social media or seen my (now vintage!) magnetic name tag, you know the phrase “Move With Mallory” is more than just a catchy rhyme. It’s been the heartbeat of my real estate career since day one. But the reason I started using it is a mix of marketing strategy, a pending wedding, and a little thing called a global pandemic. When it comes to finding a home, I always tell my clients to move with mallory.
Thinking Like a Marketer from the Start
When I got licensed back in 2019, I wasn’t just entering the real estate world—I was bringing years of marketing experience with me. Even before I passed my exam, my “marketing brain” was already spinning. I knew I needed a brand that was memorable, approachable, and, most importantly, consistent.
The Name Change Dilemma
At the time, I was engaged and knew I’d be changing my name from Burnett to Anthony within a year. In the real estate world, your name is your business. I didn’t want to spend my first 12 months building brand equity under my maiden name, only to have to hit the “reset” button right as I was gaining momentum.
So, I made a bold executive decision: I leaned into the mission, not just the name. “Move With Mallory” became my identity. It allowed me to hit the ground running without worrying about the paperwork trail of a future name change. It was about the service, the Texas grit, and the journey I was taking my clients on.
Marriage, COVID, and the Paperwork Marathon
Eventually, the wedding bells rang, and the “Great Name Change” began. Let me tell you—changing your name as a professional is a marathon. Changing it as a REALTOR® is an ultra-marathon. Then, throw in COVID-19 and the world shutting down? Let’s just say it took a massive amount of patience (and maybe a few Sonic drinks) to get through the red tape.
Why “Move With Mallory” is Here to Stay
Even though I am officially Mallory Anthony now, the slogan stuck. It represents that bridge between my marketing roots and my life-long residency here in the Temple-Belton area.
Whether you’re a first-time seller or a veteran moving to Fort Hood, my goal is to make your transition as seamless as possible—even if the world is a little chaotic outside.

Getting married during a pandemic is a wild story for another day, but the brand that came out of that era is one I’m incredibly proud of. When you’re ready to navigate this market with an ethical, knowledgeable pro who knows how to pivot, you know what to do…
Move with Mallory.
